Enterprise Development Manager

West Howe Community Enterprises are recruiting a part-time Enterprise Development Manager.

SALARY: starting £25204.00 rising to £25960.00pa for 0.8 FTE
CONTRACT: Permanent  
HOURS: 30 hours per week 
CLOSING DATE: midnight 18th May 2025
INTERVIEWS: 23rd May 2025

 

Job Purpose and objectives
WHCE exists to improve the quality of life for people in West Howe through social events and capacity building, creating opportunities to connect, be active, learn, give and raise awareness. 


The role of the Enterprise Development Manager (EDM) is to


•    Lead community engagement in WHCE’s work to address the needs of and strengthen the local community.
•    Work closely with all colleagues across WHCE to ensure the smooth management of the Enterprises.

WHCE Volunteer and People Coordinator.

West Howe Community Enterprises (WHCE) are recruiting a Volunteer and People Coordinator on a full time basis (Job share considered).

SALARY: £30207.00 rising to £31113.00
CONTRACT: Permanent  
HOURS: 37 hours per week / Job share considered.
CLOSING DATE: midnight 26th May 2025
INTERVIEW DATE: 6th June 2025

Job purpose and objectives
WHCE exists to improve the quality of life for people in West Howe through social events and capacity building. Creating opportunities to connect, be active, learn, give and raise awareness. 


The role of the Volunteer and People Coordinator is to:

 

  • Ensure pastoral care of volunteers and anyone that encounters WHCE.

  • Ensure all volunteers are supported to deliver across all functions of the Enterprises as appropriate whilst developing their own skills and benefit from their involvement in WHCE.

  • Maintain and keep our website and social media sites up to date and relevant.
