Tuesdays 12-2pm

Men's Shed (without the shed!)

Community Fridge

£1 per family. A welcoming and friendly group for under 5's and their parents and carers in the hall at The Henry Brown. Run by Volunteer Vicky from Crescent View pre-school and our team of volunteers. This group provides fun for the little ones, a cuppa for the adults and signposting support on local services for children and their families. (Term time only). They are lucky to have regular visits from the library and other special guests to host songtime!

Free. Small donation for lunch welcomed. Come along and be part of this friendly social group for men. Share ideas, plan projects together, and pick up new skills along the way. Past activities have included cooking sessions, installing blinds, and maintaining our community garden. Fancy a bite? An optional lunch is available in the café for anyone who takes part. Not into hands-on projects - that is ok! Just enjoy the free pool table and dart board, relax, and meet new people.

Free. The Community Fridge's mission is simple: to reduce food waste by rescuing surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill. Visit on a Monday and Thursday and help yourself to whatever selection of food is available. Although we share food fairly, it is subject to availability and on a first come first served basis. By reducing food waste and cutting down on harmful emissions, our volunteers and visitors are helping build a more sustainable future for everyone!
